Lang-8で指摘された内容についてまとめます、

※Lang-8とは、英語が母国語の人が英作を添削してくれるサービス。

 

【補足】

以下の考えからブログにまとめます。

・指摘されっぱなし、英作しっぱなしだともったいない

・ほかの英語学習者も同じ指摘をされがちであれば、共有することで少しでも役に立てればという考えから

 

 

■私が書いた文章
Of course,The place we spent many many money is also Guam.


■添削後の文章
①Of course, the place where we spent lots and lots and lots of money is also Guam
②Of course, Guam is also the place where we spent the most money.

 

 

グアム以外でもお金を使っているならば、２番目の方が自然に聞こえるみたいです。

 

■参考；ネイティヴの指摘
I added a second version that sounds a bit more natural to me. However, don't use the second sentence if you didn't actually spend the most money in Guam out of all places.

 

 

■メモ１：manyではなく、lots of を使う
　　　　不加算だからお金には、「much」or 「a lot of,lots of」を使う

■メモ２：whereは省力しない
　　　　理由；文として成立しなくなるため、関係副詞は省略できないそうです。
　　　　　　　同様に、why,how,whre,whenを関係副詞として使用するときは注意！！
